    The amount of blue light that is emitted from our digital screens are so small that there is no evidence that they can cause harm to the eye. Research does show that blue light affects our sleep cycles. That is why it is suggested to put digital devices away at least 30 minutes before bed time.

    Blue light blocking glasses reduce the amount of blue light that gets into the eye. The lenses will make objects appear more ‘yellow’ or ‘warmer’. Our screens will no longer have the white sharpness instead will appear to have a yellow tinge. The wearer gets well adapted to the lenses and will not notice a large difference unless looking for it.

    If you spend lots of time on screens or computers, the lenses can’t hurt! Some patients report that the lenses help with eye strain and fatigue when looking at screens all day. If anything they can help you fall asleep and sleep better.
